Placing inventory closer to customers in multiple fulfillment centers across the country is critical to delivering products faster and at a lower cost. The FBA inbound placement service fee for standard and large bulky sized products reflects the cost of distributing inventory to fulfillment centers close to customers. The fee will be effective as of March 1, 2024.

When you create a shipping plan, you can select one of the following inventory inbound placement options:

• Premium service: You can send your inventory to a single Receive Center or Fulfillment Center and Amazon will spread inventory across our network on your behalf, for a fee. The following table outlines the per-unit FBA inbound placement service fees. When you create your shipping plans, you’ll see a cost estimate for each available inbound placement option. The fee will vary based on the following factors:

If your shipping plan qualifies, you will have the option to use the “Discounted” FBA inbound placement service where you pay a reduced fee or no fee for sending your inventory to multiple inbound locations across our network. Inbound placement service fees will generally be lower for inbound locations outside the West than locations in the Western part of the country.
